Hey, you won't believe the crazy experience I had in Hong Kong! So, picture this: I'm crossing the street, and out of nowhere, a taxi nearly runs me over. Scary, right? But here's where it gets even weirder. After that close call, I saw this shadowy figure lurking around, exactly where I would've been hit. Cue the chills! Ever since that incident, I've been having these intense nightmares. And get this, there's always this Asian girl in them. What's even freakier is that I've started noticing Asian girls in real life who look just like her. Coincidence? I'm not so sure anymore. My boyfriend's family is convinced I'm being haunted by a ghost that's invading my dreams. They suggested that I should do an exorcism. But my mum, ever the skeptic, thinks it's all nonsense. She's worried it might be early signs of schizophrenia, as my grandmother had that condition. My mum advised me to see my doctor instead for a proper diagnosis. Am I being haunted, or is there something wrong with me?

I was born and raised in Toronto and never wanted to leave this beautiful city to live and work elsewhere. But my boyfriend, who's from Hong Kong but came to Toronto for school and work, has thoughts about returning. On a trip to Hong Kong last Christmas to visit his family, he asked if I could see myself living there. I said I wasn't sure, but what I meant was no. Recently, my close friend decided to move overseas to teach English. This got me thinking about where we’ll go if we allow ourselves to live and work elsewhere.
